COMMONWEALTH AVE—Boston University’s Construction Services group reported that they “honestly just forgot” what campus construction is for, but are pressing ahead in hopes of remembering.

“I thought it was for the gas lines,” said Mike MacLellan, a construction worker. “But Rick said it was for trees or something, so we’re not really sure.”

After two years of steadily increasing construction in West Campus, many students have complained about the roadblocks on the way to class. “I feel like it’s been going on since I got here, it’s ridiculous,” said CFA sophomore on the construction.

When asked about the timeline, MacLellan said he feels “pretty confident” that the crew will crack the mystery.

“Yeah, I mean, I think we’ll get there. We just need some more time.”
